Northern Radiololgy Imaging

There are certain exams for women that require privacy. Here at Northern Radiology the staff and Radiologist realize this. Northern Radiology has a special Women's Center for our female patients comfort. It is a private women's only suite that is seperate from the other general imaging areas.

	Mammography Mammography is a completely non-invasive exam the utlizes a low does of X-rays to produce a hight-quaulity, detailed image of the breast and can often detect breast cancer before it can be felt.
	Bone Density Bone mineral densitometry measures bone quanity to determine the presence of absence of osteoporosis. The DEXA bone densitometer measures bone density of the total body.
	Ultrasound Ultrasound uses soundwaves to evaluate internal organs we preform all obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasounds. Also ultrasound is used in conjuntion with mammography for breast ultrasounds.
